I just updated my baby blog, realizing that it had been over a month since my last post. Where has the time gone?

And I only have a few minutes, so I'll have to make this post quick.

SO much has happened in the last few weeks. So let me hit the highlights:

Brian got a new job which is GREAT because he totally, completely, and utterly hated his last one. His new job will allow him to work from home, which will be great when the baby comes! It'll be a big transition for us to both be working from home, but I'm looking forward to it.

Baby's doing well - she's very lively these days! I'm definitely getting bigger (and dreading my check up tomorrow since I'm SURE that I've gained weight) and the baby is moving around all the time. I put my hand to my belly and actually felt her foot kick it last night. THAT was crazy.

Brian and I just got back from a fantastic vacation - pictures to follow later once I have scanned them - we decided last minute to go on a "babymoon" - our last vacation with just the two of us for a while. We went on a 7 night cruise to the Western Caribbean (Jamaica, Hispaniola, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel Mexico). We had a great time - really relaxing and a great chance for us to get really connected before the baby arrives.

Work is good. Working full time is somewhat of a challenge because there are so many demands on my time but I'm hanging in there - just trying to be a worker among workers and not a superstar. No need to be stressed out if I can help it!

This week I'm on my own in the house (with the pup and the cat). Brian is away training for his new job. It's a little creepy being out in the country, in the woods, all by myself. But I'm keeping myself busy with errands and work and seeing friends.

So that's my spiel!! It's good to be back blogging. Can't wait to get some of my pics up!!
