I had a great time over the holidays. It was awesome to see my family and spend some time at the beach. I learned, too, that being away from Brian around the holidays isn't something I want to make a habit. We decided to spend Christmas with our own respective families. And even though I had a nice time, it wasn't worth being away from him.

It's an odd thing to realize that your definition of "family" has changed. Brian is my immediate family and my priority. I guess I had to be away from him to realize it.

Tomorrow is my first official ultrasound. I can't wait!! :) I'll post the pics as soon as I can scan them.
