Stupid camera phone!

My phone is great--partially because it is FREE (my company pays for it) and partially because it has a camera on it...which is way fun when I'm driving on the road all by myself all week.

So as I drive along, I take pictures of interesting things. I'm usually on highways, but the pictures still seem to turn out okay (though usually slightly blurred or off kilter, since I'm taking them whilst driving). While driving in VA, there were a lot of cows and pretty farms and an incredible sunset (not sure if I sufficiently captured it, but we'll see). I also saw two really cute mailboxes that I couldn't take a picture of in time--one was a big yellow tractor and the other one was a US Mail car (jeep? truck? van? what ARE those things?).

My problem is that my stupid phone needs a cord so I can upload these pics to my blog. It's pretty frustrating because I went to the cell phone store (I won't say the company's name....but it rhymes with "Vexed Hell") and they told me they don't make such a cord. So now, I have to chase down Motorola (the company that actually made the phone) and find out if they have the cord. Argh! What's the use of a phone camera if you can't get the pictures onto your freakin' computer?!?!

I know, I know, I could just email them over my phone, right? Wrong. My phone does have that capability, mind you, but there's a charge. And I don't think my company would look too kindly on me expensing the charges for sending pictures of mailboxes and "Biscuitville" signs and a 5 month old golden retriever and such to my own computer. Just a hunch.

Anyhoo---the saga continues. I'm gonna check on ebay and with Motorola to see if I can find something. If anyone (and by that, I mean Chion, who is in the cell industry) knows another alternative, PLEASE leave a comment with the info. It will only benefit you as a reader of this blog!

Love to all...
