Day THREE!

I pretty much breezed through Day Three. I had a road trip (by myself) in the car for work, and I actually had a great time talking on the phone to my sister. I also sang at the top of my lungs and munched on peanuts and soda. Yummy.

I worked until about 9:30 last night with my boss and couldn't fall asleep once I got back to my room. But that's not really a change, I always have a hard time sleeping in hotels.

So today is Day FOUR! I can hardly believe it. My first time in a non-smoking room in who knows how long and it's going well. I'll head home today and I'm actually looking forward to the non-smoking drive. yahoo!

Can't WAIT for vacation to start tomorrow afternoon. I deserve it.

I've gotten a lot of support from my husband, a couple of friends that read this blog, and my mom. My mom actually signed up to be my "cheerleader." She's treating me to a manicure/pedicure when I get down to Hilton Head on Friday. I'm pretty psyched about that.

I think that will be the biggest benefit of quitting smoking--being able to spend time with my family (and specifically, my parents) without wondering when my next cigarette is going to be. Or being able to have my parents in my car without worrying about the smell. It's liberating and wonderful. I can't wait!!

Being a non-smoker is awesome. I'm so proud of myself!
