It's been too long! And I'm becoming a blog-slacker.

I'm trying to get better though, so let me give an update. Work is surprisingly busy and good. I am learning how to strategically plan my territory so I know which school districts to target and I'm not just taking a shotgun approach to this whole thing.

Mara is doing well. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She's already about 30% bigger than she was when we got her. I can't keep up! She eats so fast that she gives herself the hiccups. It may be the cutest thing ever. :)

I'm going to be traveling this week...Thursday I'll be in Maryland (day trip) and Sunday I leave for Pittsburgh for three or four days. Lots going on!

In the meantime, I'll be just keeping up with the regular rhythm of life. I have a dentist appointment tonigth (ugh). I have to clean my bedroom. Our puppy needs a lot of attention all the time. You know, the normal stuff.

Oh! I did get a new car this weekend. SO EXCITING! I actually missed not having a commute this morning because I'm looking for any excuse to get in the car and DRIVE, baby! I got a Hyundai Tucson and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size for being on the road all the time. And even though I'm normally opposed to SUV's, this one gets pretty good gas mileage, so I'm not totally killing the environment. My next car will definitely be a hybrid, but right now that just wasn't available in the size of car I need.

Anyhoo--gotta take the puppy out. I'll attach a picture for those of you that haven't seen her yet. Enjoy!!
