Busy, busy, busy!
I love being busy. There's something about it that makes me feel important. I'm not talking about want-to-kill-yourself busy, I'm talking about a steady pace to get through a bunch of tasks/work.
I loved today. I got to drive up to Baltimore to see a presentation done by a lovely human being. His name is James and he's really wonderful. I tell ya, there's something about people from California. I've never met a Californian I didn't like (well, besides celebrities. They don't count.).
Anyway, we went out to lunch afterwards and I got to pick his brain about the job and the company and a bunch of different other stuff. It was really interesting and I feel like I got the inside scoop on a lot. I LOVE having the inside scoop. :)
Anyhoo--now I'm back from Baltimore. I'm going to finish up work here in a bit...feed the dog, change, and go to a friend's house for dinner. Should be fun.
To my girl Chion--Congratulations, girl. You had my vote all along. I'm so happy for you and I'm so tempted to come up to CT in February to see your show! It's going to be fantastic.

GirlRy! Kathryn here. Mara is soooo cute; I hate that we haven't met her yet! And I am so proud of and happy for you in your new job! Sounds like once again, you did the footwork and H.P. really delivered. Well done! I really can't wait to get together with you again, meet Mara, and catch up. Your post about being attracted to people other than your husband rocked. I'd love to talk more with you about that! Bottom line is - I agree with the others you've spoken with about DUH, of COURSE that's going to happen! More thoughts on that in person...
Anyhoo, Sam and I leave for our two week vacation tonight! EEEE! I can't wait and will be in touch upon our return. I love ya Girl!!!
